Lancaster Man Wanted In Friday Shooting

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a Lancaster man suspected of shooting a 21-year-old acquaintance during a fight Friday night.

Markevius Grafton Harper, 23, is wanted for attempted murder in connection with the incident, which occurred about 11 p.m. Friday in front of a home at 960 14th St., a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office statement said Monday.

The statement said Harper and several others were at the home when an argument broke out among them, leading to a fight outside between Harper, the victim and the men’s girlfriends.
